MY ROLE //
I started my journey at dressbarn in May 2015, when I started as the Visual Merchandising Intern. I worked with the Visual Merchandising team to create and distribute the monthly floor set directives to over 850 stores. I was later promoted from Intern to Visual Merchandising Specialist and continued to work there through April 2016.
In April 2016, I was offered a position within the company as a Social Media Marketing Specialist. As the Social Media Specialist, I create all assets for and manage the brand’s social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest. I also work closely with our digital marketing agency to coordinate paid social (sponsored advertising) on Facebook and Instagram.
Another part of my role is to concept and execute on ideas for original content, including photographing or creating animations for National “Days” and other potential lifestyle moments to connect more with our audience.
